TRS supremo and Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao as well as his son and party working president KT Rama Rao maintain that they are for strengthening the federal structure and will champion the formation of a non-BJP, non-Congress government at the Centre. In the recent Telangana assembly elections, TRS criticised both Congress and BJP as a pink wave ensured that the saffron party lost four of the five seats that it held in the state.
